The main goal of New Zealand Document Consulting is to provide assistance to you and your business to obtain, certify and legalize New Zealand documents.
Do you need new copies of New Zealand documents?
If you need new copies of your documents, we will act on your authority and on your behalf to apply for and obtain copies of your documents from government bodies and commercial organizations in New Zealand. We can obtain copies of documents from most government departments, including the Companies Office, the Department of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and the New Zealand Qualification Authority.
Do you need to certify copies of your New Zealand documents?
If you wish to keep the originals of your documents safe and require a certified copy, New Zealand Document Consulting will organize the verification of your documents by a Notary Public or appropriate government department , which will assess the document and, if approved, certify the copy.
Do you need an apostille on your New Zealand documents?
If your documents are to be used internationally, New Zealand Document Consulting will act on your authority and on your behalf to legalize your certified documents with the Authentication Unit of the Department of Internal Affairs. If your documents are not already certified or do not meet the criteria for apostillization, we can organize the appropriate certifications prior to the apostille.
Our services are provided on the following conditions:
Under your authority and on your behalf we can request for copies of your documents to be produced by the appropriate government body or commercial organization, but the final decision to issue the copies of the documents rests with the issuing body.
In New Zealand Notary Publics may certify copies of documents, and on your behalf and under your authority we will request for your documents to be certified by a Notary Public, but all decisions regarding the certification rest solely at the discrepancy of the Notary Public assessing your documents.
The apostillization (authentication, certification, legalization) of documents in New Zealand can only be carried out by the Authentication Unit of the Department of Internal Affairs. On your behalf and under your authority we will complete all the procedures necessary for your documents to be affixed with a New Zealand apostille, but all the decisions on whether your documents can authenticated and affixed with an apostille rest solely with the Authentication Unit of the Department of Internal Affairs.
Please note, we are not affiliated with the Department of Internal Affairs, any other department of the New Zealand government, nor do we claim to provide the services offered by these organizations. We are not a Notary Public and do not claim to provide the services of a Notary Public, and cannot certify your copies of your documents.
